BA (Hons) Theatre Studies, LAMDA PcertLAM
Rachel launched Greasepaint over 10 years ago after having dreamt about it all her life (proving that dreams really can come true!). Having been performing herself from a young age, Rachel has appeared in numerous stage productions and on-screen, credits include Silent Witness, Kingdom, Obsessions and various adverts.
Rachel trained on the Norwich Theatre Royal Arts Course and later at Pineapple Dance and Rose Bruford Drama College both in London, gaining a BA (hons) first class degree in Theatre Studies and English Literature.
Rachel set up Greasepaint soon after her second son was born with the intention of providing professional performing arts training for those aged between 4 and 18 years, in a welcoming, inspiring and inclusive environment. Rachel is a firm believer in the life and well-being benefits taking part in activities such as dance, drama and singing can provide such as increased confidence and self-esteem, tolerance, trust and resilience.
Rachel carefully selects amazing freelance practitioners not only for their excellence in their specific field, but also for their exceptional teaching abilities and inspirational natures, allowing students to feel free to express themselves within the safe, encouraging environment.
Rachel is also an Arts Awards adviser and has gained Distinctions in her LAMDA Acting and Speaking of Verse and Prose exams, including the teaching PCERTLAM.
